In September 2005, Ira entered into an executive producer deal with Blueprint Entertainment where he also oversees the company's slate of numerous Lifetime telefilms. He is currently Executive Producing the series Til Death Do Us Part with Blueprint for Court TV.

Before joining Blueprint, from 2000-2005, Ira Pincus Films was housed at von Zerneck/Sertner Films, a top supplier of long-form television, where he executive produced six films: Vinegar Hill for CBS starring Mary-Louise Parker, Tom Skerritt and Betty Buckley; I Do, But I Don't for Lifetime Television starring Denise Richards and Dean Cain; Three Days for ABC Family starring Kristin Davis (Sex & The City), Reed Diamond (Homicide) and Tim Meadows (Saturday Night Live); Defending Our Kids for Lifetime Television starring Annie Potts and Micheal O'Keefe; Killer Instinct: From the Files of Agent Candace DeLong for Lifetime starring Jean Smart and A. Martinez; and Scared Silent for Lifetime starring Penelope Anne Miller.

Prior to executive producing films, Ira focused on the business side of Hollywood while an agent at Creative Artists Agency (CAA). A telefilm packaging agent, representing the agency's top directors, actors and production companies.

Prior to that, from 1991 to 1996, Ira was a development executive at Citadel Entertainment, an HBO owned production company, where he was involved with the sales and development of over 120 hours of network programming and the production of approximately 12 films a year.
